Create and Add a New User to a Company

Users are almost always associated with Companies. Therefore, creating a user in the Company Directory is quicker than from creating users from the User Directory since you can create the user and associate them with a Company at the same time.

To create a new user in a Company:

  1. Search for the Company you want to create a user from. For steps to search for a company, see Search for a Company .
  2. On the Company Edit page, in the Contacts section, click Create New User.

    The User Edit page displays.

    Note: The Company's contact information has been automatically copied to the User's profile.

  1. Populate the user's information:
